I bought my first camera, a Canon Rebel XT, at 17 and let it collect dust for a few years until I needed to take pictures of sneakers to sell on eBay. Then I started shooting pictures of friends and pets. When a friend asked me to shoot their portraits for a job interview, I charged them $20 for a 2 hour shoot and a gallery of images. The feeling of taking pictures, collaborating, and creating - was amazing; the results? mediocre; the pricing strategy? Absolutely unsustainable (ah, to be young and scrappy again).

But photography had it’s hooks in me, and we’ve been together ever since.

Over the next 10+ years, I developed a passion for creating thoughtful, human-centered brand stories through photo, and expanded into video. I like leading diverse creative teams and managing production workflows from concept to delivery, and I thrive on turning big ideas into impactful visual assets while meeting budgets and deadlines.

My greatest strengths are fostering collaborative, respectful production / team environments, and (of course) creating really good content that truly connects.

My camera doesn’t get as much use as it did when I was younger, but it’s still my favorite tool for connection, showing meaning in product, humanizing a brand, and telling the stories that bring everything together.
